Ode to Vanity     |   home    Wednesday, August 7 This was the day Jeff and I arrived.  I started this sequence with the time we got to the airport to pick up Tannen,  Kitty, Jani, and Mori.  It includes our early evening, meeting up with Cyn and Jonai, our first night walk down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House and Treasury Building, our visit to the Real Marriott and our first group attempt at the subway system.
