this was the day jeff and i split off from the main group. i stayed in the suite and baked all morning (no photos), jeff went to the botanical gardens and the air and space museum, and the rest of them tried to go to the spy museum but ended up at the Old Post Office, instead and had lunch at a place where a school orchestra was playing. we got back together in the afternoon for Carrie's bridal shower (of which Tannen has no photos due to the enormous stress of his performance *l* - you'll have to go back to my photos or Caly's to see that stuff) and then a trip to the Mall to see the Lincoln Memorial, and the Korean and Vietnam War Memorials. This was followed by a nice pasta dinner and then a bunch of us went out dancing. *bg*
